Back to blogProp Bets Explained
A prop bet is about a specific part of a game, not always the final winner. Props can involve players, teams, or smaller events inside a matchup.
Player props
A player prop may involve a stat such as points, shots, rebounds, or passing yards.
Team props
A team prop may focus on one team's score, totals, or specific game events.
Event props
An event prop may involve something that happens during the game, such as the first score.
Settlement rules matter
Always check whether overtime counts, which stat source is used, and when the bet settles.
Prop checklist

- 2Does overtime count?

- 4What number must be cleared?
- 5When does the bet settle?
