Common Sports Bet Types

Sports bets can be built in different ways. The name of the bet type tells you what question the bet is asking.

Moneyline

A moneyline bet is about which side wins the game or event.

Spread

A spread adds or subtracts points, goals, or runs to balance the two sides.

Total

A total is about whether the combined score goes over or under a listed number.

Props and futures

A prop focuses on a specific event or stat. A future is decided later, often after a season or tournament.
